Gito Valley

We are an international group of ski and snowboard guides based in Turkey. Our goal is to bring the highest level of professionalism, safety, and fun to every guest that travels with us in the Turkish mountains. Turkey is a mountainous country with snowy winters. However, the majority of its peaks have not been explored for winter sports. Together we can change that, Join Us! We take small groups on private backcountry adventures throughout Turkey. We provide experienced guides (American Avalanche Institute educated) and all necessary safety equipment (airbag, beacon, shovel, probe) and training on how to use them. We access our selected terrain with snowmobiles and touring equipment (skis or split-board). Our adventures follow weather conditions so locations change from time to time to ensure great snow and great fun for everyone who travels with us. We value the local culture and communities of this land and hope to share its rich beauty with you! We are currently based at Gito Yaylasi in Rize Province on the Black Sea Coast of Turkiye. The nearest airport Rize-Artvin (RZV) is a 1.5 hour drive. There are several flights per day from all Istanbul airports. Flights should be booked to arrive the day before your first day of skiing/riding and leaving the evening  (7pm or later) of your last day. So if your trip is the 10th-13th You would arrive on the 9th and depart on the 13th. 
From the airport we can provide transfer services to bring you to the mountain. Its approximately a 1.5 hour drive (weather dependent), with the final climb being made with snowcat.
If you plan to use your own vehicle or rent a car(available at rize airport), you will need 4x4 and chains.
